He confessed to Goliath that he come to him in the name of the Lord. God himself testified concerning David that he was a man after God’s own heart. All who rely on the Lord alone will be men and women after God’s heart and will have no choice but to receive unique answers in their every day life.
All believers in Christ should face all their challenges boldly as they rely on the Lord alone. Whatever challenge that faces God’s children is normally under the Lord’s control and is always meant to equip them with un wavering faith to rely on the Lord alone. We are not weak people who rely on others for self evaluation but God’s children who rely on the Lord alone.
Those who rely on the Lord alone should always be oriented towards God’s solutions rather than man’s problems and thus purpose to obey God’s word regardless of how they feel.
The Bible cautions us that cursed is he who relies on Man instead of relying on the Lord alone. May all believers in Christ get ride of all elements of unbelief and rely on the Lord alone.
